A [blank] who [blanks]

I don’t know what’s more embarrassing for Stewart Chen, the fact that he has a grammatical error on his mailer that is attributed to one of his big name backers.

Or the fact that the mailer is chock full of nothing speak that is supposed to feel comfortable but yet say absolutely nothing that could demonstrate that the candidate has any specific experience or knowledge about a regional bus system. I guess this is why people grow really cynical about this whole process of elections and endorsements because they’re based on quid pro quo and not on any meaningful qualifications or demonstrated interest (this is a term that is very relevant in our current college seeking process).

Like, if you were to ask Mia Bonta, Sheng Thao, or Trish Spencer what qualifications Stewart Chen has to govern AC Transit, what possible reasons could they give you? That he’s a “resilient leader”? What is that supposed to mean?

When Stewart Chen says “for the way transit should be” as his tagline, what does that mean? His priorities are full of bland overarching topics that would fit right in to a high school election and there is no depth to his knowledge about how transit systems actually run.

The only thing Stewart Chen has going for him is that he knows how to promote himself and trying to get elected. When you get him in a role that requires knowledge and decision making, he’s not great. Seriously, watch any City Council meeting with him on the dais. Is it Tony Daysog levels of bad. Yes. Anyway, I’ve made my thoughts known about Stewart Chen back in 2018.

  1. Pop Quiz: How many Alameda voters can name their AC Transit representative?

  2. Has Stewart Chen ever ridden a bus? In his defense, he made abstaining popular before Tony Daysog (although Tony does it better)

  3. “bruh”, Lauren? Culturally appropriate much? Especially offensive when you are ridiculing a person of color, bitch.

    • Wow! Just wow! I hope Lauren knows who you are with your IP address and show this to your mom, your wife, your daughter, your sister. What would they think about you and how you use your free time in this way? Shame on you, you are nothing but a sexually frustrated misogynistic shitheel. Oh, and by the way, Lauren IS a person of color, and “bruh” isn’t exclusive to any particular race so way to show your ignorance, twice.

    • I’m sorry that Google is hard for you and that modern slang is beyond your comprehension.

As the kids would say today: sucks to suck.

  4. You know I got this mailer and I thought it was one of those that tries to promote a bad candidate or issue by associating the candidate or issue to sympathetic progressives. Did all these people really co-sponsor the mailer and endorse this guy?
