National Horror Story: four months in

Filed under: Alameda — Lauren Do @ 6:01 am

I mean, this was the inevitable next plot twist in this story right? Now all we need is some character to come back from the dead and we have the makings of the worst tv show ever.

I was starting to feel a bit more optimistic about the state of the US after hearing about other countries successes, but it appears that some of us we’ll be stuck inside forever because we don’t want to chance infecting our families because others want to eat out at a restaurant.

  1. The administration’s cluster-f**** handling of the viral outbreak at every level made its arrival within the WH inevitable. It’s also ironic to the Nth degree because Tr$mp may soon be able to “test” his theory that the virus is “just like the flu.”

I do not want anyone to die — even people like our POTUS and his cronies (Barr, Pence, Miller, etc.) who are evil or who wreak havoc with an entire nation’s civil liberties, laws, democratic institutions, and public health — not to mention international relations, the environment. But I have to work hard to banish those evil thoughts.

The good news is that November 3 is coming, and with it, a life-saving opportunity to rescue our nation (and the world) from the worst administration in US history. (If we live long enough, that is…)

  3. When you have Obama, who has been dead-silent throughout the chaotic last 4 years with this current admin come out and say that the situation we’re in is an ‘Absolute chaotic disaster’ that speaks volumes. We are screwed. Really really screwed. At this point leadership in both congress and the senate need to be calling for the removal of the president from his office. There’s even a constitutional provision that says as much:

“In Case of the Removal of the President from Office, or of his Death, Resignation, or Inability to discharge the Powers and Duties of the said Office, the Same shall devolve on the Vice President .”

So we’re screwed either way. If Trump is removed then we get Pence, who is just as bad if not worse who’s initial plan was to “pray away” the virus.

  5. “We have met the moment, and we have prevailed,” Trump said. He later added that he was referring to testing, not the virus itself. NBC News. Can’t remember his take, if any, on “Mission Accomplished” during 43rd, but maybe that explains, in part, maybe, and depending on who is asking and when, the qualification. Who’s to say? He knows his fans pretty well.
