National Horror Story: write out loud

Filed under: Alameda — Lauren Do @ 6:06 am

I don’t think we’ve ever had so much president-ing in one president before. Who else would think of *checks notes* alternating a hurricane projection map to cover up an initial lie and then double down on it? Who?

Only the most presidential president in the history of president-ing.

  1. The breathless politicalization of hurricane coverage has revealed a lot of foolishness, as every weather event is now cuz “global warming”…..Sanders in the CNN townhall calling for mass sterilization and abortion in the third world to avoid overpopulation, others to stop eating hamburgers, CNN mislabeling Mississippi and Alabama on their map among others…

But Marianne Williamson was the best…

“The Bahamas, Florida, Georgia and the Carolinas … may all be in our prayers now,” Williamson tweeted, according to images posted by several Twitter users. “Millions of us seeing Dorian turn away from land is not a wacky idea; it is a creative use of the power of the mind. Two minutes of prayer, visualization, meditation for those in the way of the storm.”

Although mocked, I agree with her-the power of prayer is powerful and sadly mocked by some…

    • I guess those who were praying for a direct hit on Mar a Lago weren’t praying hard enough, then, by that logic…climate change is indeed real, and not all weather patterns can be attributed to it, but anyone with even half a brain (so I guess that excludes Trump) knows it is an existential threat that has to be taken seriously.
