Because the only thing that will make today better is Tina Bey and Tituss Burgess singing a song from City of Angels.

  1. I didn’t vote for Trump, but….

Stick head in sand. Stay there for 8 years. Not a good plan. Current situation- North Korea nukes placed on launchers, Iran sponsoring terrorism, terrorism attacks in USA, ongoing war in Afghanistan, Iraq, and Yemen, terrorist state in Libya, new Cold War with Russia, fake unemployment numbers, massive flow of drugs across our borders, American jobs exported to foreign countries, out of control gun violence in big cities, cyber war attacks, stock market artificially inflated by government policies, incredible shift of wealth to the top 1 %, heightened racial and cultural polarization, shrinking middle class and home ownership, etc. etc. etc.

Watch how gracious President Obama, Michelle, Joe Biden and his wife are in welcoming the new administration. Follow their example. Then go out and work for the change you think is necessary. Great lesson for your children.

    • Captain, you just listed all the reasons people voted for Trump. If you didn’t hear it, read DJT’s inauguration speech. Truly inspiring

  2. How Americans felt about the 20th century successes and failures of the US in 1999. http://www.people-press.org/1999/07/03/successes-of-the-20th-century/

Will be interesting to update this poll in 2020.

  3. I’m not gracious when it comes to fascism. Fuck that noise. I resist.

    • But you were gracious to the fascist that was replaced by the new fascist.

Ironically, their struggle will be made all the more challenging due to the fascist moves promulgated by Barack Obama, a president revered by liberals — but whose administration has been characterized by a stream of fascist policies.
