Wah wah waaahhhhh

The other day this letter was sent out to resident anti-everything David Howard, “publisher” of Action Alameda from the City of Alameda:

wahwahwahhh

Which definitively puts the final nail in the coffin of the short lived Recall Bonta campaign, which, let’s face it, didn’t really try very hard beyond a few lawn signs and maybe a few days of canvassing.

There are a few words and sounds that might be popping into your head right now, the first is “Fail,” the second may be laughter, the third may be this sad trombone sound but whatever it is it’s yet another windmill tilted at and another battle lost to the giants.   And as mentioned by JKW on twitter, Rob Bonta secured almost 60% of the Alameda vote which would have made any recall attempt fruitless as well.

Speaking of fails, apparently David Howard has been harping on his site about how Planning Board member and UFCW honcho Mike Henneberry hasn’t been charged after he allegedly assaulted a store manager or someone similar during the Nob Hill strike.   David Howard’s pearl clutching over the altercation brings to mind a little saying about stones and glass houses…

  2. Hmm, who are you referring to: Rob Bonta, David Howard, Mike Henneberry, or the store manager?

  3. for Howard it’s probably not too early to start a recall for the state assembly seat! call him Ahab. how does that story end again? oh yeah, decapitated by his own harpoon line.

  4. What on earth motivates David Howard? He seems an almost tragic character. When I saw that he, of all people, wrote a letter to the editor about someone allegedly assaulting another, I almost choked on my cornflakes. What ever happened to his case?

  5. “The most cost effective footwear Adidas may give this year for females is definitely an included surge shoe, the actual adiCROSS M, that amounted to just $67.00. Should you be looking on the entire golfing boot delivering the the best possible through steadiness also as control, it is going to sadly run you a minimum of a $100.00 subsequent shipping and handling. Heading with out footwear is probably the particular joys linked with donning sneakers. There is no far better instant compared to any time that rigid or not comfortable sneakers last but not least is eliminated as well as your feet get to be no cost. I get pleasure from proceeding without running shoes when it is possible to but call for sneakers by way of out a while. Putting on sneakers or boots with the task is a thing even so i have to have a lot more liberty subsequent a long time.”
